On June 19, we launched a new contact point for older people at Na Homolce Hospital and a few days earlier at the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital. The Beauty of Help Contact Point offers advice to older people and their loved ones. In one place they can get a comprehensive overview of available social services, material support and aids to help them make their lives easier.
In the afternoon, the chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Tatiana Kuchařová, also attended the festive afternoon for the Beauty of Help Foundation. Along with her, they also introduced care coordinators who will offer advice at specific times in places. In addition to advice and information, older people will help to get things done, visit them at home and recommend the best solution to help them live at home and with dignity.
They handle everything they need at the authorities or provide compensation aids for them. They will also help to find a volunteer or provide a psychologist’s help.
“We really appreciate the cooperation with hospitals. They are key places for us, where there are many of our potential clients who need help in moving from hospital to home care. I believe that cooperation will be beneficial for all, ”says Gregor Kuchařová.
At the Homolka Hospital, the Director of Na Homolce Hospital, Dr. Ing. Ivan Oliva and Deputy for Nursing Care Eva Kuříková.
The opening of the contact point for the Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady was attended by: Director of FNKV doc. MUDr. Robert Grill PhD. MHA. and Deputy for Nursing Care Libuše Gavlasová PhDr. MBA.
“The release of a patient from the hospital does not end our care and interest in the patient’s health, the more so in older people, for whom subsequent home care is difficult to control. Involvement of Na Homolce Hospital in the Public Benefit Society’s project The Beauty of Help with No Confidence, I see it as another possibility to help our older people patients better and more easily manage convalescence and living in the home environment after being discharged from hospital, ”said Ivan Oliva.
In the Na Homolce Hospital contact point you will find care coordinators every Wednesday from 9 am to 12 pm and in the contact point at the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital you will find care coordinators every Monday morning.
Thank you all for your cooperation.
