The Foundation was founded in 2008. Since then we have distributed more than 30 million Czech Crowns among non-profit organizations helping older people.

  • As part of our own Úvod Without Worries project, we have helped thousands of seniors to live in dignity at home.
  • We regularly participate in international conferences, we have also presented our work at the UN.

We are a member of

Our vision is satisfied older people who lead quality and dignified life in the home
At the same time, we are working to ensure that the society sees the older people with respect.

Our Mission is to offer older people and their relatives information, contacts and support in their most important stage of life. The aim is to experience old age as a positive, full-fledged and active period of life in a home environment.

Our main values:

  • positive aging
  • a dignified life at home
  • humanity and trust

We share the stories of older people we work with to help spread the testimony of the situation of older people in the Czech Republic.

Check out our main activites and projects below. In addition to them, we organize many different campaigns and conferences. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram, so you don’t miss any information as well as share and help us spread the word about respect for people of all ages.

Our vision is that older people live a dignified life in their home environment. Therefore, we offer them the services of our care coordinators to help seniors arrange everything they need to live in dignity at home. You can find our contact points in Prague hospitals, you can also use our telephone advisory service or mail.
In the Golden Work project, we help 50+ people find jobs where they value their experience. At the same time, we help companies with age management. More info at www.zlataprace.eu
We are a foundation, so our important mission is to support non-profit organizations that work with the elderly. During our operation, we have distributed more than 30 million crowns to non-profit organizations.
We also cooperate with volunteers and can find seniors who are alone a partner for walks, theater or tea. No one should be alone and we are grateful to our volunteers for dedicating their free time to us and our clients.

Are you not entirely sure how to conceive our work specifically?

Maybe you feel like your grandmother doesn’t need help and is in good health, so why are we doing all of this? Imagine this:
Your 80-year-old grandmother lives alone in her apartment and is independent. But suddenly her health deteriorates quickly, and she is hospitalized.
She doesn’t want to stay in a hospital, nor can she, or she doesn’t want to leave her apartment and go to a retirement home. You don´t want it either, but you don´t know what to do.

Can you take care of her in your home? What does it involve? What support do you qualify for? Where do you request it? What about your work? We will be happy to support you and guide you through the process to make it happen.

Now imagine a slightly different scenario. You’re not in it. An 80-year-old grandmother has no family. She would like to live at home, but until now she has received no support, and has lived only from her little retirement. Suddenly she has to visit many doctors, but her legs are no longer of use, and she has to take a lot of expensive drugs. Setting up a housing allowance with a local authority is an impossible task for her. The hospital or general practitioner will alert us, we will contact her and take care of everything. We contact the authorities and arrange for contributions for her. We will order an ambulance for examination, pick up medication, ask for a caregiver or assistant, and talk to her about everything. If necessary, we will also arrange aids or modifications to the apartment so that she can continue to live at home.
The situation of some older people is not easy. If one is not in a similar situation, it is difficult to get into it. But the stories of our clients show us that our work is meaningful and necessary. No one else is doing it that way. Thank you for supporting us.

We help older people who want to continue living in their home environment and can avoid institutional care. We support families who take care of their loved ones, and older people in their home environment.

We also support proven non-profit organizations that help older people. We evaluate projects according to regional need, sustainability and also in connection with our vision. Become our partner!
